Description:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial, driven and accomplished Solution Engineering professional to join our growing Commercial Organization focused on supporting the Account Executive team in establishing the diwo platform in the Financial Services industry.


This is an opportunity to join a high growth company and help design applications for an innovative platform that is experiencing rapid adoption across all industry verticals. The person in this role will make a significant contribution in the company’s growth and future success.


The Director - Solution Engineer - Financial Services will be responsible for all pre-sales and technical engagements with our prospective customers. You will work with the Account Executives, Solutions, and Delivery Teams by giving demos, managing proofs of technology and use-case based trials, and building credibility with clients. This is a highly visible role both internally and externally.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead the pre-sales engineering effort to deliver production-ready application trials and proofs of technology on the diwo Platform in collaboration with the Solutions team’s application engineers, product managers, and data scientists
  • Deliver technical deep-dives, demonstrations, and training as part of the sales process
  • Engage customer executives and domain experts to define, scope, and design application trials
  • Conduct consultative “Opportunity Discover” workshops, involving discussions on architecture and engineering, particularly explaining the diwo Platform and deployment to empower a specific use-case
  • Work with Solutions leadership to design, develop, maintain, and present demo applications of diwo as well as working with Account Executives in the creation of Sales collateral in preparation for meetings

About You:

  • Undergraduate degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM), or comparable area of study
  • Strong verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Full-stack development experience, with proficiency in JavaScript and/or Python
  • Familiarity with big data, databases, cloud technologies, and machine learning concepts
  • Practical experience with machine learning and data science within the Financial Services industry
  • 2+ years of experience demonstrating software products, conducting solution workshops, and presenting technical deep-dives
  • A Team-Forward attitude, able to collaborate effectively with others and build consensus in order to reach agreement and solution to challenging problems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
